Social Enterprise Kent offers a Higher Apprenticeship in Management and Leadership for those that are currently in managerial roles and looking to develop an excellent understanding of management and leadership. This is an Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) qualification that will develop the apprentice’s skills in strategic planning and strategic change. In addition to this, there are four mandatory subjects, these are: contribute to the development of a strategic plan, design business process, manage strategic change, and provide leadership and management. This apprenticeship will include: a Diploma in Leadership and Management at Level 5, and Functional Skills in English, Maths and I.C.T at Level 2. The apprentice may not be required to undertake Functional Skills in any of the three subjects if they have achieved these qualifications. The apprentice could train in a number of roles ranging from trainee manager right through to director level.
