This course leads to the award of a PITMAN Training National Certificate in Computerised Payroll. The aim is to provide the skills needed for a high level of competence in the use of Sage Payroll. The course is ideal for those who are already familiar with manual payroll procedures but who now need to use computerised software including the most recent Real Time Information (RTI) facility required by Government / HMRC. The course is also a logical follow-on to the PITMAN Training Practical Payroll Certificate Course (which teaches the manual payroll principles). Those who qualify in Payroll operations significantly enhance their employment prospects since Payroll Clerks and Payroll Supervisors are in high demand. Sage is in use by most businesses. For some learners, the final goal after this training can be a National Payroll award at Level 1 or Level 2 by the International Association of Book-keepers (IAB).
