The minimum credit value of 17 credits required for this qualification are gained by completing and achieving 2 mandatory units (5 credits) : QCF641 - 2 credits and QCF642 - 3 credits. The remaining credits are gained by completing one of the optional units (minimum credit value of 12 ). This qualification provides the opportunity for learners who specialise in accessing plant to demonstrate their competence. There are additional units that can be achieved which will be added to the certificate but will not count towards the qualification.
