The minimum credit value of 42 credits required for this qualification are gained by completing and achieving all 4 mandatory units (32 credits): QCF401 - 8 credits, QCF639 - 19 credits, QCF641 - 2 credits and QCF642 - 3 credits. The remaining credits are gained by completing and achieving one unit from the optional units with a minimum credit value of 10 credits. Additional units can be achieved from a choice of 12 units, these will be added to the certificate but will not count towards the qualification.
