The Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care qualification provides a taster for the learners who may be new to the sector or new to the world of work. It is assessable to learners of all ages - school leavers who are eligible for employment and pre-apprenticeship programmes, adults returners or those under going a career change and who may want to understand more about working in Health & Social Care. It aims to introduce some basic concepts of caring and preparation and employment in this sector. To achieve the Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to work in Adults Social Care, learners must achieve a total of 21 credits to be taken up by mandatory units.
