The Playwork Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship is suitable for those working in a supervisory position within a Playwork role Children and Young People need to play and express themselves. What is Playwork? Playwork is about providing resources, enhancing and maintaining children and young people's freely chosen play. The age range is generally between 4 and 16 years of age. What is the role of a Playworker? The role of the Playworker is to support and enhance children and young people's play opportunities. Playworkers extend children's experiences by carefully planned interventions. Risk is an important part of play and supports children's development. What Qualification can I get from this course? You will recieve a Diploma (NVQ) in Playwork at either Level 2 or Level 3. Level 2 is for workers who work under supervision and Level 3 is for Supervisors and Senior Playworks wishing to progress in their career.
