This ILM Level 3 Award is a valuable tool for motivating staff and enhancing performance. It is made up of three mandatory units which introduce key aspects of coaching in the workplace: ? Understanding good practice in workplace coaching: Here, participants assess their own ability to use a variety of interpersonal communication skills when giving effective feedback to learners. ? Organising workplace coaching: here, participants look at the range and value of different learning resources to support safe and effective coaching, alongside practical skills in how to monitor and record progress. ? In the final unit, participants plan and organise workplace coaching sessions, undertake coaching and then monitor and review their own workplace coaching performance. After the training, you will be asked to discuss the values and outcomes of the training with your manager, and plan the implementation of actions to further improve your coaching performance
