By studying AS/A level Mathematics students will develop an understanding of mathematics and mathematical processes, develop abilities to reason logically and recognise incorrent reasoning. The course develops students' ability to represent a situation mathematically (model real life situations), develop an awareness of the relevance of mathematics to other fields of study, the world of work and to society in general. This course will enable students to acquire the skills needed to use technology effectively in problem solving.
