This final year BA (Hons) final year degree programme in art and design is offered as a top-up qualification for learners who have gained a relevant FdA, HND or equivalent qualification and who want to continue studying to Honours level. The course is delivered through four modules, which in addition to further developing and refining your own art and design practice, will offer invaluable professional and business knowledge relevant to working as a creative practitioner. Studio practice remains key throughout this year with lecturers providing guidance and advice through individual and group tutorials. Students are encouraged to actively engage with external ventures, identifying specific audiences and/or clients and gaining the necessary skills and knowledge that will fully support their future professional careers. The course consists of four modules and is taught through seminars and lectures as well as one-to-one and group tutorials. All students have a dedicated studio in which to work.
