You will have the opportunity to explore painting,drawing and mixed media, including collage and assemblage printmaking, relief, intaglio, screen processes and lithography. You will be introduced to a variety of experiences, exploring a range of media,processes and techniques.You will study relevant images, artefacts and resources relating to a range of art, including European and non-European.You will study drawing using a variety of methods and media. Assessed by coursework only. Sketchbooks, journals, basic art equipment and portfolio has to be provided. There are many diverse career opportunities including: commercial artist, book or magazine illustrator, social photographer,web designer, fine artist, digital artist.
