Understanding the basics of business in today?s world of work is an essential foundation for your future career. Students who want to complete a Level 2 course and have a keen interest in business. This is an assignment-based course where students study units which focus on key aspects of business. Students will have the opportunity to take part in a number of educational visits related to the course. On successful completion of this course students frequently progress on to BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma. A Merit is required for progression to Level 3. Students can also progress onto an Apprenticeship. Many students move on to the world of work finding employment in administration, finance, marketing or human resources.
