This may include the remaining unit not selected from Optional group A1. The EDEXCEL BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Music (Composing) consists of two optional units from a choice of four, plus further optional units that provide for a combined total of 60 credits and 360 guided learning hours (GLH) for the completed qualification. This may include either or both of the remaining two units not selected from Optional group B1. This structure allows the flexibility to import standard BTEC units (QCF) at Levels 2, 3 or 4 to meet local needs. This is limited to a total of 10 credits and can not be at the expense of the mandatory and mandatory specialist units in this qualification.
