The learner needs to be employed in a management role. Learners should have experience and a level of responsibility within their working role. The qualification and learning is agreed after initial advice and guidance with their assessor. The qualification aims is to develop a high understanding of leadership and management practice. The qualification is internally assessed by assessors and quality assurance personnel and externally verified by OCR assessors. The qualification is completed through a range of methods including observation. Appointments are every 4 weeks and in the workplace. Qualification can be completed in 6-12 months.
