Advanced Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

This level 3 qualification is designed to provide a standardised approach for the delivery and assessment of the competence and knowledge requirements. It also forms the integral component of the IMI SSC Maintenance and Repair Advanced Apprenticeship framework (for Light Vehicle). This VCQ is an integral part of IMI SSC Maintenance and Repair Advanced Apprenticeship Framework (Light Vehicle Route). Therefore learners (normally aged 16-25) who are keen to build a career in the industry can take this VCQ as part of the Apprenticeship framework. Learners are required to demonstrate all of the evidence requirements, learning outcomes, assessment criteria through workplace evidence. Full guidance documents and assessment records are supplied by IMI Awards. Additional assessment of the knowledge component within this VCQ is made up of 2 components: a. IMI Awards set Online Testing b. IMI Awards set Written Assignment (Coursework)
