Foundation Choices : Work & Life Skills - Entry 3 If you are aged 16-18 and have special educational needs and want to learn and develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to enable you to be prepared for the world of work this is the study programme for you. This study programme is personal to you and is made up of the things which you need to be successful. This includes a supported environment which will enable you to make informed choices for your own personal development. The programme includes maths and English and some vocational experience in a practical setting, in addition to preparation for work and employment. You will be offered the opportunity to participate in a work experience programme throughout your time and also be able to adapt the study programme to meet your individual needs. You will have a personal tutor who will offer emotional and academic support within a caring environment and will participate in enrichment activities which may include, sport and performing arts. There is also the opportunity to progress on to further study on completion of this one year programme.
