Who is it for? Learners who have completed one year at Improvers level, or have the equivalent knowledge of the language. What will I learn? Learners will be able to use a range of topics whilst acquiring an understanding of the structure of the language. Previous knowledge will be reinforced and used as a springboard for new material. Speaking, listening, reading and writing will be further developed with emphasis on accuracy of pronunciation. The new topic ¿Qué harás? will include: asking and saying what you want, how to plan/organize events, pronouns, future and conditional expressions, differences between tenses… Course outcomes: During the term learners will be able to: • Identify and describe places, objects and people using a specific vocabulary required to the Beginners Plus level. • Grammar skills will be practiced during this term: indicative vs subjunctive, future and conditional tenses. • Follow the main points of an authentic spoken passage or conversation in different contexts. • Participate in discussions relating to a variety of situations and topics. • Structure writing to produce a coherent text, for a specific purpose e.g. a letter or to communicate ideas and opinions for an article.
