Belly Dance (this is a Western name which is thought to derive from the 'baladi' of urban folk), is one of the oldest dances known and is performed in many Middle Eastern and North African countries, this course specialises in the Eqyptian Oriental form, considered by some to be the purest form of Belly Dancing. These classes are aimed at people who like to dance and have fun. As well as improving your fitness and boosting your self-confidence, you will improve your posture, poise and balance. Because most of the moves come from the torso, it can really help to tone the tummy area. Beginners concentrate on basic moves and fun choreographies.
