Computers for Improvers - Award in Using IT

This course comprises three units, the details of which are shown below: Unit 1 - Use a computer to produce a document: Using a word processor (Microsoft Word) to design a simple document, eg a menu, invitation or a poster by bringing together text and a picture. Unit 2 - Use a computer to find information: Using the internet to search for specific items of information. Use a memory stick or other removable device to search for files. Unit 3 - Use a computer to communicate with others: Using email to send and receive messages. This course is suitable for learners who can use a mouse and know the basic keyboard keys
