This Apprenticeship is for Apprentice Senior Mechanical & Electrical Trim Technicians who are Identifying, removing and refitting damaged mechanical and electrical components on vehicles, using welding and soldering equipment and ensuring the vehicle is in working order and supporting other technicians who do not have as much experience. This Apprenticeship framework will train Advanced Level apprentices (Level 3) into the role of a Senior Mechanical & Electrical Trim Technician This framework contains: Level 3 Diploma in MET Competence Level 3 Diploma in MET Principles Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT Employee Rights and Responsibilities

Name: Vehicle Body & Paint - Advanced Level Apprenticeship - Mechanical, Electrical and Trim Qualification title: Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Competence (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment During Block Release at Thatcham Automotive Academy in Berkshire, you will undertake your off the job training. This includes completing your VRQ (Technical Certificate/Knowledge) and also Fuctional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT. You will be assigned an Assessor who will visit your workplace to complete your on the job training. This will enable you to complete your VCQ (previously NVQ) and ERR workbook.
