This is an industry specific qualification designed to develop skills in a range of standard functions. Candidates can select from mandatory and optional units to create a learning route which reflects their employment role or a preferred route. The qualification is an assessment based programme with 80% of the qualification being assessed through observation and the remainder being assessed through test. On achievement the candidate should be able to work unsupported in a commercial environment and support others.
