Entry 3 Maths can help you build skills, increase your knowledge and boost your confidence. You will develop basic knowledge, skills and understanding in number concepts; measure, shape and space; and handling data.This course gives you the opportunity to learn how to use maths in your day-to-day life in a range of situations from budgeting to decorating the living room. It could even help you support your children with their homework. Entry 3 Maths could also be appropriate if you don't have traditional qualifications, or if you've been away from learning for a long time.we talk to you and involve you in your learning. We will set goals together and discuss how you are doing regularly. As you progress through the course we will tailor the work so that it meets your needs and helps you to achieve your goals.A City and Guilds Certificate in Functional Skills Maths at Entry Level 3. This certificate is nationally recognised by employers and colleges. Entry 3 maths can open the way to accessing Level 1 vocational courses, as well as acting as a gateway to Level 1 and 2 Maths (equivalent to GCSE). The government aims to have 95% of the population at this level by 2020, so you can feel proud of your achievement.
