The course covers the understanding and application of the following; The requirements of a supervisory position i.e. room leader Planning activities for children in your care and be familiar with the EYFS How to carry out observations on your ‘key children’ How to carry out risk assessments and have a good understanding of Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Child Protection Communicating with Parents and keeping them informed of their child’s progress You will be required to work as part of a team, therefore good communications skills are paramount.
