• This intermediate qualification will develop and demonstrate technical and wider sector-related knowledge to underpin competence within a customer service role. This includes the principles and practices of delivering customer service and understanding the different types of customers, their needs, wants and expectations, communicating with customers using appropriate communication channels, resolving customer problems and complaints, building relationships with customers. There are optional units available to tailor your course around specific areas of your job role such as: processing sales orders, meeting after sales needs, supporting customer service improvements, use of social media in customer service and providing reception services, amongst many more • You will be assigned a qualified training advisor, where learning will be undertaken by mixture of 1 to 1 sessions, on/off the job learning and mentor support • The course will be assessed via a range of methods which could include direct observations in the workplace, electronic portfolios, guided discussions, screen testing and exams. • There would be opportunities to progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Customer Service, Business Administration, Team Leading or Management • Job roles could include Customer Service Advisor, Customer Service Operator, Call Centre Advisor, Help Desk Operative and Service Agent or other related roles
