• This course will develop the knowledge and skills preparing you for work in the adult social care sector • All those who wish to work with adults in health and social care • The course covers -the role of the Care Worker -Health and Safety -Person centred care -Safeguarding and protection -Equality and diversity -Confidentiality • The course will take place in the classroom where learning will be undertaken via group activities, individual learning, workbooks and guided discussions • Demonstrate knowledge via question and answer in a workbook format • There would be opportunities to progress onto a related Level 3 qualifications • During the course advice will be given about pursuing a career in Social Care, as well as introductions to Social Care employers in your area with the opportunity to apply for available vacancies. Job roles could include care working within residential care homes, caring in the community or primary care environments.
