As an Advanced Apprentice polisher/finisher you will be following a comprehensive training programme which offers training in a variety of skills in the manufacture of polished furniture. The training will enhance the techniques covered in an Apprenticeship and introduce new elements, including the use of relevant tools and equipment using modern hand and spray finishing techniques and a range of lacquers, stains and colours. It will also involve you in the preparation of products for straining and sealing before moving on to final coating ready for distribution to the customer.
