This qualification is for people employed within the Electrical Industry. It is the British Standard to which all commercial, domestic and industrial electrical installation works must comply. Topics studied are: Scope, Object and Fundamental Principles Definitions Assessment of General Characteristics Protection for Safety Selection and Erection of Equipment Inspection and Testing Special Locations Appendices Electromagnetic Disturbance (new section) Surge Protection (new section) Medical Locations (new section) Operating and Maintenance Gangways (new section) This is a classroom based course over 9 Thursday evenings, 6.30pm to 9.00pm. On successful completion of this course you could go on to study: 2394-01 Initial Verification and Certification 2395-01 Periodic Inspection Testing and Certification. This course is for you if you wish to progress further in your career and gain a professionally recognised qualification.
