The AS course covers two units studying how the english legal system works, for example police powers, sentencing and court structure; and the concept of liability. The A2 course covers criminal law, including homicide, offences against the person, defences and an introduction to legal philosophy. Progression opportunities include moving on to higher Education to pursue a law or non-law degree. Potential careers include solicitor, barrister, police or prison officer, journalist or human resources. It equips learners for any career where clear and precise thought and application is required.
