This is a recreational course and continues to strengthen your ability to communicate confidently, clearly and effectively in Italian through both the written and spoken word. What topics will I cover? Health issues, new technologies and cultural topics such as films or history. Much use is made of Italian in the classroom. Most lessons will include a variety of activities - expect the opportunity to speak in pairs or group work, undertake exercises to increase vocabulary, give oral presentations, explanation and revision of grammar, short written tasks and exercises. There will be some small tests every half tem to assess learners’ progress How can I prepare for the course? Watch films and read books and newspapers in Italian. If possible, access Italian radio via the internet
