Follow-on course for those who have studied a year of Spanish and we welcome learners from other centres. These participants already have a working knowledge of cultural aspects of some Spanish cities and are familiar with the rudiments of the language, often selecting topics such as talking about hobbies, holidays, the family, where they live, travel, ordering in a restaurant in order to extend or deepen what they already know. Typically a verbal tense plus other minor grammatical aspects as they arise are studied each term in order to sharpen accuracy. A range of materials and PCs where available are utilised and learners are encouraged to research/complete various home-based tasks each week. As with WELCOME TO SPANISH courses, IMPROVE YOUR SPANISH programmes are run at designated centres throughout St Helens by a knowledgeable and well-travelled tutor.
