If you have a passion for outdoor sports and have a desire to work in sport and outdoor adventure, then this course is a great introduction for your career. You will study and develop practical skills in a variety of outdoor sports and learn about subjects such as fitness testing and training, outdoor and adventurous activities, anatomy and physiology for sport, injury in sport, leading outdoor and adventurous activities and expedition experience. There will also be overnight expeditions. The course is run by industry specialists who have and worked in various specialist roles in the sector and who are also assessors for National Governing Body Awards. Hartpury is in a central location, ideally situated to take advantage of the Forest of Dean, Malvern Hills and the River Wye and Severn for a range of outdoor activities
