For every 50 employees it is recommended that there is one appointed person, working in a low risk environment. Learners will be provided with a basic knowledge of first aid which will prepare them to respond to incidents. On completion of the course the learner will be issued with an Emergency First Aid at Work certi?cate approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). This is valid for three years and can be renewed by re-taking the course.
