A programme for people seeking a management qualification within a first line management environment. The Management programme has been designed to provide choice and flexibility which meets the current and future needs of employers of all sizes and across all sectors. It develops the interpersonal skills and knowledge needed for improved performance and career progression. In today’s fast moving competitive environment there is a need to continue to drive up performance. Managers play an integral role in supporting organisational objectives through a wide range of functions. Example of options available are; planning, allocating and monitoring the work of a team, supporting team members, managing conflict, resolving problems, project management The main part of the programme is delivered at the employers own premises during visits by one of our qualified assessors, with the technical certificate being delivered at In-Comm’s Apprentice Academy. It focuses on establishing core competencies within their job role as part of their organisation’s overall requirements. The programme offers employers and learners flexibility to be able to choose from a range of performance criteria which will be dependent upon the learner’s job function within the company and/or the organizational requirements.

Name: Management Advanced Apprenticeship - Level 3 Qualification title: Diploma in Management (QCF) Qualification type: Apprenticeship Assessment Initial Assessment Candidate’s would be required to have an initial assessment carried out in order for us to establish their existing levels of knowledge and understanding against pre-requisite criteria within the Framework standards. Assessment against the Standards An assessor will visit the employer on a monthly basis to support the learner in providing the necessary evidence to achieve their qualification. /Cont’d… Management Apprenticeship - Advanced Continued ... Internal Verification, External Verification, Achievement of Qualification The qualification is monitored and audited both internally and by awarding body external verification. Programme Reviews and Evaluation 12 weekly reviews will be undertaken throughout the programme to ensure that the learner is meeting their targets and making satisfactory progress. All employers are required to take part in the review process. Entry requirements

This main part of the programme will be delivered via monthly visits from one of our qualified assessors over a minimum of a 15 month period. The learner will also be required to attend either In-Comm’s Training Academy one day per week over a 6 week period, covering their technical certificate. Evidence can be gathered through various methods including observation, witness testimony, products, oral and written questions, reports/records, tutorials, practical workshop assignments and formal examinations. The learners will also be required to attend In-Comm’s Apprentice Academy in order to undertake formal examinations at certain times throughout their programme.
