You will cover a wide range of beauty therapy activities. The course is the academic route through beauty therapy. There will be opportunities to gain experience in a commercial environment over the two years e.g. Spa's, Beauty Salons. The method of learning is by a mixture of both practical workshop and theory sessions. The theoretical and practical subjects you will study include: - Facial Treatments - Face and Body Electrical Treatments - Manicure and Pedicure - Body Massage - Epilation - Waxing - Make-up - Eye Treatments - Indian Head Massage - Aromatherapy - Business and Finance - Anatomy and Physiology After successfully completing this course you could consider one of the following progression routes: - Salons - Spas - Marketing - Training - Mobile Therapist - Self Employed/Own Business - Counter Manager/Representative - Higher Education course such as a HND or Degree The 2 year course is aimed at those who either wish to gain employment in a related area or progress to higher education.

Students aged 19 and over by 1st September will be required to pay a registration fee of approximately £175 at enrolment. All students will need to purchase: - Beauty Therapy Kit - £250 - Text Books - £80 - Uniform - £55 - Learning Resources - £60 - Trips and Visits - £14 Costs are approximate and will be payable prior to or at enrolment.
