You will develop skills in a range of complementary activities. The method of learning is by a mixture of practical and theory sessions. You will be expected to find a number of your own clients to work on and be able to practice at home. The modules that you will study include: - Basic Aromatherapy - Body Massage - Basic Reflexology - Basic Anatomy and Physiology - Basic Head Massage - Working in Industry - Clinical Services - Health and Safety After successful completion of this course you could progress to City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies or seek employment in a related area. Name: Level 2 in Complimentary Therapies Qualification title: Diploma in Complementary Therapies (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment All practical areas are assessed throughout the course whilst working on members of the public, including detailed case studies. Theory work is assessed using written external tests. You will also be set projects to work on at home and you will be required to prepare a portfolio of evidence. Students aged 19 and over by 1st September will be required to pay exam and registration fees of approximetly £90 at enrolment Ask your interviewer for more details.
