The Advanced Apprenticeship Programme is offered to employed staff in Doncaster Council. The course is delivered free of charge to staff as is funded through the Skills Funding Agency. Staff are required to attend off the job training sessions away from the normal work environment to gain knowledge to support the Apprenticeship qualfication. Each learner is allocated their own assessor who supports them through achieving. As a part of the framework, learners are also required to complete qualfications in Maths, English, if relevant depending on GCSE results.
