Students will further develop the skills of the hairdressing industry and gain a Level 3 qualification. The method of learning is by a combination of both theory and practical sessions. 90% minimum attendance is an Awarding Body requirement and it is College policy is that four consecutive absences can result in an automatic withdrawal. Units studied will include: - Advanced Cutting - Colouring including - Correction - Creative Hair Work - Hair Extensions - Hair Show Possible routes of employment include: Employment in theatre, television, cruise liners, hairdressing salons, salon manager/owner, department stores and teaching/training Higher Education - Level 4 Hair Design and Salon Management. This course is for those interested in a career in hairdressing.
