If you love creating music, but need to gain more musical and academic skills, then this course is the perfect way to get started. The course is: Centred around music projects which allow students to gain a broad base of music, employment and life skills. Ideal for young people aged 16-18 looking to gain skills for work or study. Some basic music skills are useful, but not essential. Designed for anyone who has found school and college courses unsuitable to their needs and for those not currently in education, training or employment. Designed to give you more than music in that you will also gain valuable job skills and life skills. Linked to nationally-recognised RSL music qualifications. Ideal for school leavers aged 16+ looking to work in music and the creative industries. Graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2016.
