Functional Skills English Entry One

This course is designed for students who wish to improve their personal English Skills and achieve an Entry Level 1 qualification. All students are given a full initial assessment and then placed into the relevant class according to their understanding of the English language and level of knowledge. Students on this course should have an initial assessment result of Entry 1. All students are expected to achieve a full accreditation of the Entry 1 award during the year which is nationally recognised by colleges and employers. Depending on the requirements of students, we offer thirty week courses which are available throughout the day morning, afternoon or evening. 100% attendance is expected from each student. Lessons will cover: Speaking Listening Reading Writing All learning will be classroom based. After completion of this course students can progress to Entry Level 2 English.
