Advanced EDCL - Presentation Unit

The ECDL Advanced qualification will prove that an individual’s competence with computer use is well above the basic skill level, and will help to determine suitability for jobs involving computer use at a higher level. Presentation is an important development tool that can provide assistance in the most demanding of climates through the understanding of the audience, the structural layout, creating macros and the management of the presentation, as well as the regular use of basic presentation functions. ECDL Advanced presentation graphics will allow students to prove their ability to use many of the advanced tools available on standard PowerPoint applications, including: Transition and Animation in Slides Custom Slide Shows Different Effects to Text Manipulation of Graphics on Slides Addition of Film and Sound on Slides Presentation and Considerations that Need to be Made Charts and Flow Diagrams on Slides Setting up Slide Shows This course is available as flexible learning in the Skills NC Centres at Daventry - Badby Road West and Northampton - Lower Mounts. You can start your course at any time during the year and learn whenever you wish during our range of opening hours during one academic year. We are open for approximately forty weeks per year. It is advisable to attend for a minimum of three hours, twice weekly. Anyone who regularly uses a PowerPoint application and needs to know how to create complex slides and be able to add transitions and animation and make a powerful presentation.
