This course is based on the generic Institute for Customer Service National Occupational Standards. The use of the National Occupational Standards provide an industry–recognised reference framework that can be used for a variety of purposes and sectors therefore not limiting this Customer Service programme to a particular employment sector. The value of this is that the learner can add to this learning once in employment and complete a full Level 2 NVQ.
