Abstract Art Improvers

UPDATED 20160725 11:35:45

The course involves exploring abstract and modern art including creating mood and generating reaction using different media; acrylics, pencils, charcoal and pastels as well as various materials. Participation on the course will give an understanding of this form of art and how it can change moods and feelings. Conventional barriers and traditional rules are broken during the de-construction of recognised images and the use of shape, linked to colour and mood, will give the feeling of different energies being created. The development of sketchbooks is encouraged as well as developing personal projects. Tutor demonstrations are also observed to show techniques.
