The course involves working with water mixable oils and learning traditional oil painting techniques such as blending, glazing, impasto and scumbling. The only difference between this new medium and conventional oil paint is its ability to mix and clean up with water. The development of sketchbooks is encouraged as well as developing personal projects. Tutor demonstrations are also given to show techniques.
