Do I need any prior experience? Students are encouraged on to the course if they have a genuine desire to ultimately work in the legal profession in any capacity, currently work in the legal profession whether as a legal secretary, paralegal or clerk , or wish to enhance their current knowledge or interest in law to achieve professionally recognised qualifications. Course aim: This is the first two years of the 4 year study to achieve the complete academic requirements of CILEx to attain qualified lawyer status and it is a stand alone qualification in its own right. If you have already gained either AS Law or A2 Law, you will be eligible to seek exemption from sitting up to two examinations
