Emergency First Aid at Work - Lower Mounts

This one day course will develop all the skills needed to be a successful Emergency First Aider in the workplace, and provide basic life saving and first aid techniques to the standards laid down by the UK and European Resuscitation Protocols. It is a highly participative course with a quick pace. This course is suitable for novice first aiders, or for experienced first aiders as a skill update. Including the following: First Aid Priorities Unconsciousness Examining a Casualty Burns and Scalds Basic Life Support Control of Bleeding Managing Accidents Reporting and Recording

Entry requirements

You can enrol in person at the College or over the phone using a debit/credit card until 8pm (term-time) or 5pm (outside term time) Monday to Thursday and until 4pm on Fridays. If your employer will pay for you, a letter requesting a place and confirming payment from them will allow the College to invoice your employer direct.
