Who is this course for? This is an introductory course for anyone who is thinking about joining an English (Literacy course) course. What will I learn on this course? You will be able to find out what the English courses are all about and whether or not they are for you, You will be able discuss your own personal learning programme and timetable How will I learn? This session runs once a week. It is expected that you will attend for one session before moving on to an English course that is right for you, or be given advice about an appropriate alternative. What qualifications will I gain? This is an unaccredited course. Will I have to an exam? There are no exams on this course. What else will this course offer me? You can expect to have found out about the English courses and whether or not they are for you; identified clear learning goals and appropriate individual timetable. What could this course lead to? This course will help you progress to an appropriate learning programme to improve you English skills. What equipment or materials will I need to provide? None, but a pen and A4 pad would be useful. Can I join anytime? You can join at any time of the year.
