Structure of Qualification The certificate is a knowledge only qualification and enables learners to build evidence towards the Diploma in Health & Social Care. Learners can undertake the qualification at 2 or 3, the level may be determined by the level of apprenticeship being completed. The certificate consists of 9 units at each level. Programme We provide flexible access to the qualification, candidates are able to register at anytime. We can provide group or individual inductions and assessments. To minimise disruption to services we carry out all induction and assessment in the learners workplace. Learners receive an induction, at which a learning needs analysis is carried out Learners are seen individually once per month by their assessor for advice, planning and assessment Learners can receive additional support from their assessor by telephone, fax or e-mail Learners can access web based learning resource Smartscreen Monitoring and Outcomes Learners are expected to achieve a minimum of 2 units per month and complete within 6 months. Throughout the programme progress is monitored and reviewed with learners to ensure they complete within the agreed timescales. Monthly reports are provided to purchasers to keep them informed of delivery and outcomes.
