Children and Young People's Workforce Level 2 Apprenticeship

This qualification enables you to work with Children and Young People from birth to 19 years of age in the following roles—Nursery Nurse, Childminder, Youth and Community Worker. The qualification is structured as follows: Short modules and 3 Assignments. Employment Rights and Responsibilities and Paediatric first aid are included in the qualification. College attendance each Monday—we offer two classes 2-5pm or 7-9pm. Functional skills are a statutory part of the Apprenticeship Framework. Support is given throughout the course, in college by your tutor, and also by your assessor, who will guide you through your qualification with regular visits to see you in your workplace and review your progress. Progression from Level 2 to Level 3 is available and is also on a roll on basis.
