Apprenticeship Level 3 Professional Cookery

This is a full-time advanced practical training course to develop students in the art and science of Professional Cookery, enabling them to work at the highest levels in the Hotel and Catering Industries. The apprenticeship lasts for one year. Students will spend one day a week on campus working in our well-equipped kitchens under a qualified professional cookery lecturer. The industrial placements will be undertaken in kitchens run by members of the Academy of Culinary Art. This programme is endorsed by the Craft Guild of Chefs and British Culinary Federation. Throughout the apprenticeship students will gain a variety of qualifications including the NVQ Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification which includes Health and safety including environmental safety and food safety, Apprentices will also learn about sustainability and nutrition .On completion of the apprenticeship, students will be awarded a prestigious certificate from the world-renowned Academy of Culinary Arts.
