The primary objective of this qualification is to improve business performance as a whole by minimising waste and maximising profits. The candidate can be employed in any environment. The programme is broken down into six units and all candidates must cover the following units: • Complying with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements • Contributing to effective team working • Contributing to the application of workplace organisation techniques • Contributing to the application of continuous improvement techniques (Kaizen) • Contributing to the development of visual management systems The one remaining optional unit will be chosen to suite your business needs and can include: • Carrying out set up reduction techniques • Contributing to the application of problem solving techniques • Carrying out flow process analysis • Contributing to the creation of standard operating procedures
