English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classes are offered at a variety of levels, from Elementary to Advanced. You will develop your ability in all of the four language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. At all levels, particular importance is placed on improving learners' spoken communication skills and their ability to understand everyday general English. Importance is also placed on the study of grammar. There are five, two hour classes per week and two three hour classes. You may choose to attend all or only some of the classes. For anyone living in Britain on a temporary basis, and whose first language is not English (au pairs, foreign language assistants, etc). Our learners come from many different countries.
